The Internal Swivel Tee is a compact fitting designed to create an adjustable offset joint between a tube and another key clamp fitting, such as a Short Tee or Elbow. Ideal for sloped or offset handrails, it enables angled connections without cutting or welding.
This fitting is inserted into the open end of another clamp and held in place by that fitting’s set screw. It cannot be fixed inside a tube directly and should always be used in conjunction with another compatible key clamp.
The Internal Swivel Tee offers 360° rotation, making it perfect for staircase handrails, access ramps, or bracing where flexibility in angle and positioning is required.
Typical applications: offset handrails, sloped midrails, wall-mounted rail ends, and custom-angled connections in tubular structures.
Assembly
The included set screw (Allen screw) makes assembly easy. An Allen key is the only tool needed to firmly secure the tubes in the tubeclamps. Please insure the right size allen key, an incorrect size can potentially damage the set screw.
Quality
Our key clamps have been manufactured according to strict specifications. The fittings are made from malleable iron (according to BS EN 1562) and are usually delivered in a hot dip galvanised finish (BS EN ISO 141) in order to combat corrosion and have a longer lasting product. Because of the galvanised finish this fitting is perfectly suitable for outdoor use. Our fittings are very strong and will support an axial load of up to 900 kg when tightened to a torque of 39Nm.
